These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PeerFlux Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("PeerFlux," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the PeerFlux platform and website at peerflux.in (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
PeerFlux is a real-time video conferencing and collaboration platform built on WebRTC technology. The Service enables users to conduct video calls, share screens, chat during meetings, and record sessions. PeerFlux is available via web browser with no downloads required, and is offered on both free and paid subscription tiers.
2. User Accounts
2.1 Registration
- You may access certain features as a guest without creating an account
- To access premium features, you must register with accurate and complete information
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
2.2 Account Types
- Individual accounts: Personal accounts for individual users
- Organization accounts: Team accounts with membership management, role-based access (owner, admin, member, viewer), and centralized billing
If you create an account on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2.3 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Organization account owners and admins are additionally responsible for ensuring that all members within their organization comply with these Terms.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
3.1 Plans
- Free: No payment required. Includes 1-on-1 calls, up to 4 participants, and a 45-minute meeting limit
- Pro: Paid plan with extended features — up to 50 participants, unlimited duration, HD recording, AI meeting summaries, and priority support
- Team / Enterprise: Custom plans for organizations at scale, governed by a separate enterprise agreement
3.2 Billing & Payment
- Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual cycle, as selected at the time of purchase
- Payment is charged at the start of each billing period
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, UPI, and net banking
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are exclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise
- Organization accounts may provide a valid GSTIN to receive GST-compliant tax invoices
3.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
3.4 Price Changes
We may revise subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
3.5 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again and notify you. If the payment remains unresolved after a grace period, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Transmit harmful, offensive, defamatory, or illegal content
- Record meeting participants without their knowledge and consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users' experience
- Use the Service for spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without authorization
- Circumvent usage limits, billing mechanisms, or access controls
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of your account.
5. Meeting Recordings
- Meeting hosts must explicitly enable the recording feature; recording is never automatic
- All participants are notified when a recording starts
- Recordings belong to the account holder who initiated the recording
- You are responsible for obtaining consent from all participants and complying with applicable recording consent laws in your jurisdiction
- PeerFlux is not liable for recordings made without proper participant consent
- Recording storage is subject to your plan's limits and our data retention policies

6. Intellectual Property
The Service — including its design, features, functionality, code, and branding — is owned by PeerFlux and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to the content you create or share through the Service, including recordings. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. You may not use PeerFlux trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written permission.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control (including internet outages, natural disasters, or third-party service failures).
We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance. Enterprise / Team plan customers may receive SLA guarantees as defined in their separate enterprise agreement.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PeerFlux disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Call quality depends on your internet connection and device, which are outside our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, PeerFlux shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill — arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to PeerFlux in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For users on the Free plan, our maximum liability is limited to ₹0.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PeerFlux, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your content or activities on the platform
- Recordings made without proper participant consent
- Your violation of any applicable law or third-party right
11. Termination
By you: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You may request complete account deletion by contacting us.
By PeerFlux: We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if we reasonably determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
Effect of termination: Upon termination, your access to the Service is revoked. Your data, including recordings, will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at support@peerflux.in to seek an informal resolution within 30 days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the seat of arbitration shall be in India.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, you should discontinue use and cancel your account.
15. General Provisions
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PeerFlux
- Assignment: We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms. You may not assign yours without our prior written consent
